Have you ever been interested in Beekeeping? This class is designed to help break down the most rudimentary concepts to keeping your own bees, understanding the colony and helping you feel confident you could start in April with a package or nucleus.

The timing of this class is to allow you time to prepare a hive for the outdoors. Painting or wax coating boxes is crucial before they are exposed to the elements.

We can’t wait to help you with your new journey of either learning to see if it feels right for you and helping nurture your confidence to pull the trigger.

We require registration by email to sign up. Date, name, phone (in the event of cancellation we’ll contact you) and what neighborhood you are from. This is a free class but we also need your support to do so. If you are able to support either with a drink purchase or walk away with a jar of honey. It helps us keep this event alive.
